An Escape from Time
The day is rolling in –
It emerged,
From your divine obsession,
From the sustained lamentation of your soul,
And engulfed,
The dregs of the turbulent dark.
Pay him a visit –
Ride until time has stopped:
The reawakening nostalgia,
The imprint in the selfsame mind,
And no more bootless battles to lose –
There you are, in immortal frailty.
To that vacant beach –
The haven of curative contemplation –
And lie still.
Beside you whispers delicately,
The crystallizing opaqueness
Of eternal purity.
